Arnold J. Kemp is an artist, writer, and curator. He was the associate curator at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts from 1993-2003. His art has been collected by the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, The Studio Museum in Harlem, Berkeley Art Museum, Tacoma Art Museum, and The Nelson Fine Art Collection at UC Davis. He is the recipient of awards from the Joan Mitchell Foundation and the Pollock-Krasner Foundation, among others.
