Sean Joseph Patrick Carney is an artist, educator and writer living and working in Portland, Oregon. He has exhibited original work and performed nationally and internationally in New York, San Francisco and Amsterdam, amongst others. He is the founder and director of Social Malpractice Publishing, an artist book distributor. In 2011, he co-founded the Conceptual Oregon Performance School (C.O.P.S.). Carney works at PNCA as an arts administrator and faculty member.
