Parent & Family Weekend is a great time for parents and families to visit their students and learn more about the rich array of educational opportunities and resources available to PNCA students. Programming is relevant for family members of all students, from First Year students to Thesis students.
Activities begins at noon and on Friday, February 17 and wrap up in the early afternoon on Saturday, February 18th, leaving plenty of time for parents and families to visit with their students and explore all that Portland has to offer during the three-day weekend.
Weekend highlights include the opportunity to sit in on a Friday afternoon class, attend a workshop in BridgeLab Career Center, learn more about PNCA’s academic program, talk with faculty, enjoy pancakes at President Tuski’s Flapjack Saturday, and experience the cornerstone of a PNCA education — the senior thesis.
We are particularly excited to invite parents and families to be our honored guests at the grand opening celebration of Make+Think+Code an innovative new studio and research lab at PNCA on Friday evening. Parents will have the opportunity to tour the facility and speak to the director before a reception on Friday evening.
We are also organizing an optional offsite tour and lunch in the early afternoon on Saturday. Stay tuned for details and registration info for this special activity.
Please join us for this fun and informative two-day immersion experience at PNCA.
