PNCA’s Graduate Visiting Artist Lecture Series presents designer Aly Khalifa in a MFA in Applied Craft and Design lecture Thursday, November 12.
Aly Khalifa started “Gamil Design”:http://www.gamil.com/ in October of 1995 to combine his talents of design, engineering and product development. He has degrees in both Industrial Design and Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University. His work has ranged from innovative wind tunnel testing to a patented eyewear system.
Khalifa has worked in plastic, fabric and metal in the consumer products, sporting good and medical equipment industries and has been a Visiting Professor at North Carolina State University School of Design and has led many creativity workshops.
