Certificate Program

The PNCA Continuing Education Program offers certificate programs in Graphic Design, Fine Arts and Graphic Novel. The certificate path of study serves individuals seeking professional development for careers in the creative services industries and for those developing a committed studio practice. The program is suited for creatively-minded individuals, who hold a higher education degree and have professional experience which can, but need not be, related to studio arts or design. CERTIFICATE IN FINE ARTS
The Certificate in Fine Arts is a 15-unit program emphasizing excellence of craft, primarily in 2D-media practices (traditional and digital), and an understanding of and engagement with key historical and contemporary concepts in art and design.
CERTIFICATE IN GRAPHIC DESIGN
The Graphic Design curriculum focuses on creative use of typography, and emphasizes strong compositional design, presentation skills, problem analysis and effective production methods.
CERTIFICATE IN GRAPHIC NOVEL
The Certificate in Graphic Novel emphasizes illustration and the graphic novel genre.
