Studio Certificate Program

The Studio Certificate program offers a structured path of study in Fine Art and Communication Design. Focused on developing creative skills and a professional portfolio, a Studio Certificate is not about grades or resume building. Rather, participation in the program promises keys to a sustained artistic practice and entry and advancement in a range of creative platforms and industries. Working with teachers and peers in an environment that both nurtures and challenges creativity, students create dynamic work that is relevant and professional.
Successful certificate candidates complete the required 16 units of study and studio work within two years. Certificate requirements include regular continuing education courses as well as special project courses and independent work with mentors not offered to the general public.
Designed and conceived with working adults in mind, classes are predominately held weekends and evenings. While a degree in the visual arts may be an advantage, it is not required.
