Special Programs & Events
The PNCA Youth Program and Continuing Education host a variety of special programs and events throughout the school year and summer, including specialized workshops, collaborative classes with Portland-based non-profits, and community events.
The College will be hosting a series of Youth-focused community events over the next fews months. An updated calender of events taking place in 2015 will be posted in the winter.
Visit with us for one of our many FALL EVENTS celebrating the creativity of our community. Bring family and friends to our mostly all-ages activities, many of which are entirely free and open to the public.

Celebrate the conclusion of Fall Youth classes with the Youth Program!
Our intergenerational workshop series In Character, runs every third Saturday of the month this fall. Our program celebrates Oregon stories, authors and readers through creative interpretation and transformation. Join one or all of these hands-on workshops and give form to your favorite character or scene from narratives by authors with Oregon roots.
The only prerequisite required is a passion for the particular writer and her/his stories; no art-making experience is required. All materials are provided with a workshop fee of $65 (Shadow Puppets is $95). Bring a friend, spouse, child or mentor for free with advance rsvp!
