Quick links to help you thrive
Welcome to our PNCA Community. Here we've assembled answers to frequently asked questions and quick links to resources that will help you thrive, many of which are on our internal social network, Homeroom.
Homeroom is your online portal where you can access each of your classes’ syllabi, Dropbox links where you can submit your schoolwork, and updated information on what is due, when it’s due, and how to do it. The Student Handbook contains important policies, rules, and the school’s Mission Statement, along with tons of other information. Use the academic calendar to stay up-to-date with the breaks and days off throughout the year, and visit the Student Life page for answers to any questions regarding your time here at PNCA.
Get answers about your Financial Aid status on the Financial Aid Homeroom page. Pay your account and view your balance on the Student Accounts Homeroom page. And learn about internships, view the job board, and get help with your resume and finding a job at the BridgeLab Career Services.
Get help with your schoolwork, including writing tips, proofreading, help with citations, and studying strategies at the Academic Resource Center. Learn about the various resources and databases available to you through PNCA's Albert Solheim Student Library. Get help with choosing your classes and planning your path to graduation at the Registrar's Office.
Health and wellbeing
If you aren’t sure where to get help or answers, or if you just need some tea, visit the Student Life office. The PNCA psychologist offers ten free sessions to students each semester. The Title IX page offers help and links to any questions regarding sexual assault and discrimination based on gender or sexual orientation. Slothline is a way to submit any concern about a member of the community or any situation, and can be sent anonymously. For more information about safety on campus visit the Safety & Security page, including phone numbers for Campus Safety Officers who are available to escort community members between campus buildings at all hours.
For support on all matters of technology, from passwords and key cards to software to borrowing equipment or getting help with an art project, our Technology department can help.
