FANTASMAS DE PERÚ: MI FAMILIA Y LAS PERSONAS ANÓNIMA
56 years ago in Lima, over 300 people died trying to escape a soccer game gone wrong. I explore the treatment of history, oral history, and its consequences.
I make queer domestic objects that inspire moments of delight in everyday life. Using my own authenticity, I present a world of absurdity and possibility to set you free.
I excavate and amplify liminal spaces in the built environment galvanizing an inspired design practice.
A RELIQUARY FOR CAPITALISM
With hypervigilant evaluations of the threat potential from seemingly innocuous sources, my work aims to expose hyper-objectivity, breed contempt, and incite internal revolution.
A NICE-ISH BASEMENT HAPPENING: HOW MACGYVERED CHANDELIERS, EGGSHELLS AND A DEAD MOUSE CAN ENAMOR STRANGERS.
I cultivate imagination, attention and improvisation to design joyfully empowering experiences amid scarcity.
THE TACTILITY OF THOUGHT
Balancing the material and atmospheric, I explore forms that embody a unity between human perception and living forms of the natural world.
SHARING THE SHUTTLE: WHAT HAPPENS AFTER WE SAY #METOO ?
Sitting side by side at the loom, we share the shuttle to rebuild trust, joy and friendship through the rhythm of weaving together.
DEEPENING SURFACES: A PROPOSAL FOR THE INTIMATE AND CONNECTIVE POTENTIAL
I wield surface design to challenge internalized systems of self-curation, subversively patterning textiles to share my personal narratives and offer connection.
