Bergman & Salinas Exhibition in Copenhagen
May 17, 2018
LRVS Chair, Aeron Bergman makes work as an artist duo with PNCA faculty member Alejandra Salinas. They have recently opened an exhibition in Copenhagen with Piscine for Alt_Cph.
Bergman & Salinas produce media, performance, internet, sound and sculptural works and objects in an interdisciplinary, conceptual yet socially engaged practice.
Revolving around the concept of normcore, their installatoric work for Alt_Cph comprising videos and banners will blend commercial aesthetics, fashion and infotainment. Exploring the chameleon as a figure linked to camouflage and shape-shifting, their installation will change continuously over the three days of the fair.
The PNCA Low-Residency MFA in Visual Studies is excited to welcome Angel Nevarez and Valerie Tevere for a lecture on their artwork and practice Friday, January 15 at 6pm.
This event is part of the Hallie Ford School of Graduate Studies Winter 2021 Lecture Series. Join us Wednesday nights in July 2020 for conversations on art and ideas.
