Laura Heit's new film at international festivals
October 01, 2018
Congratulations to Laura Heit, whose new film Snow Lee Leopard will be screened this weekend, October 5 at the Tacoma Film Festival and then travels to Worclaw, Poland for the Punto Y Raya Festival, October 25-28.
Heit, who is an instructor in Animated Arts and for the MFA in Applied Craft + Design, made Snow Lee Leopard while she was an Artist in Residence at Leland Ironworks. The work is inspired by the work of artist and alumnus, Lee Kelly.
A Force of Nature is the apt title of the Eugene Weekly's review of alumna Lucinda Parker's retrospective exhibition, Force Fields, at the Hallie Ford Museum of Art in Salem.
Our Low-Residency MFA in Creative Writing, BFA in Creative Writing, and MA in Critical Studies collaborate to present a number of events on campus and off as Patron Sponsors of AWP including a rare look at the Burning Deck archive.
