Make+Think+Code hosts Teardown 2019
June 21, 2019
Make+Think+Code, PNCA's creative technology lab, partnered with Crowd Supply for the second year to host Teardown 2019, a hardware hacking conference and party with three days of inspiring workshops, demos, and talks, to celebrate, inspect, create, and, of course, teardown hardware.
More than 200 people joined us to showcase projects, learn, share, and work together on open source hardware projects.
Thanks to Nandini Ranganathan, Megan McKissack, and the whole MTC crew including Connor Ray, alumni Marin Vesely and Cat Ross.
It was truly inspiring. All talks and panels were livestreamed and archived on the Crowd Supply website.
Award-winning alumna Malia Jensen talks about her life and practice in the July/August issue of Sculpture
Skye Moret, a scientist, designer, and faculty member in the MFA in Collaborative Design and MA in Design Systems programs is currently working on the Ocean Archive, a visionary project that will bring together stakeholders operating at the intersection of scientific inquiry, artistic intelligence, and environmental advocacy.
We're happy to host this exhibition of works by the 2019 2019 Hallie Ford Fellows in our Center for Contemporary Art & Culture
